Tracy and Sherlyn are York County, PA natives.  Their individual stories of recovery, as well as their blended family of six children, have gifted them with the life experiences, guidance, strengths, and personal growth necessary to facilitate experiential activities.

Our hope is for you to explore your personal fears and doubts while understanding the value of slowing down and listening to yourselves.

Tracy Young

Tracy is the President and Co-Founder of On Common Ground. He is a certified life coach and an EAGALA  certified facilitator. Tracy currently volunteers at his church, LCBC (Lives Changed By Christ), and he continues to be a member of the York County Domestic Violence Task Force.

He has served York County, Pennsylvania for over 28 years, highlights: a counselor and program coordinator at a York County based agency focusing on at risk youth and the holistic director at an local drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility.

Tracy was also the Director and Co-Founder of the Lost and Found Horse Rescue.  Tracy has volunteered alongside the chaplain on the back side of the Penn National Race Track as well as facilitating support groups at the York County Prison.

Tracy served in the Marine Corp.

Sherlyn Young

Sherlyn is the Vice President and Co-Founder of On Common Ground.  She currently works as a human service professional, certified life coach, and a certified Natural Lifemanship facilitator.

Sherlyn graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science specializing in Human Services.

Sherlyn has worked in the human service field for about 20 years including roles as a family based therapist, a youth counselor, behavior specialist, as well as a program coordinator.  She was the family counselor at a local drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility.

Sherlyn served in the Army National Guard.
